About Us

Based at Exeter Airport in Devon, Hunter Flying Ltd formally came into existence in 2006, having previously been known as Hunter Flying Club Ltd since 2002.

Hunter Flying currently operate 12 airworthy aircraft which includes Hunters, Jet Provost, Strikemaster, Yak50, Yak52 and L39’s.

Lead by Chief Engineer John Sparks, Hunter Flying’s team comprises of both full-time and part-time staff, as well as volunteers all of whom have great enthusiasm and expertise to keep these classic thoroughbreds airworthy.

Hunter Flying are therefore able to undertake all aspects of servicing on Hunters, Jet Provosts, Strikemasters, Yaks and L39 aircraft.

We are able to offer flight training and conversion courses by our QFI’s onto Hunter and being a short distance from the uncluttered south of England airspace, we are well placed to offer flight training tailored to suit an individuals specific requirements. Out client list is expanding with enquiries received daily from civil and military Hunter operators worldwide.
